Here’s what’s coming up:

34q2sfpLamentations + Director’s Cut Classes: We are continuing our sermon series on Lamentations. In addition to the Sunday morning lessons, a “Director’s Cut”class will also held each Sunday evening, starting at 6:30pm. Similar to the director’s cut of a movie, the evening classes will include extra content not included in the Sunday sermon, plus time for discussion.

These are meaty, dig-into-your-Bible classes; you’ll be amazed how much ground we cover in just one hour! Each “Director’s Cut” class also stands on its own, so you can come this week even if you haven’t come before.  Childcare is not provided for the evening classes.

Congregational Devotional: Join us for our quarterly congregational devotional this Friday, February 26th at 7pm. Come and enjoy great fellowship, singing, worship, and prayer.

That same evening there will also be a celebration of giving for our kids ages 5th grade and under. Come feast on pizza and soda, and enjoy some fun games, including life-size Candyland. Friends are welcome!

Teen/Middle School Family Devotional: Teens, Middle School Students, and their parents are invited to a devotional on Wednesday, March 2nd at 7:30pm. Please note the date change because of this week’s Congregational Devotional.

Eurasian Missions: Please continue to pray about your Eurasian Missions contribution. This will be officially collected in May, but you can contribute part or all of your gift anytime between now and then.  You can chose to give any of the following ways:

  • In person, at a Sunday service (be sure to mark your donation as “Eurasian Missions”)
  • On our Gateway phone app (select “Give” from the homepage)
  • Using Text 2 Give (text “give $1” to 314-384-9099 to set up)
  • On our church website
  • On MyGateway

For the online and texting options, be sure to select the “Missions” fund for Eurasian Missions contribution.  All of the above methods will also record your donations on your year-end giving statement.

Hope to see you on Friday night!

Prayer Requests:

We received an update from Damian Sigman about his wife, Joey:

Thank you for your concern AND prayers!

I am happy to report that Johanna was released from the ER yesterday afternoon with a confirmation that there were not any blood clots in her legs or lungs (family doctor’s concern is what went us there).

She still has pleurisy as diagnosed last Friday; an inflammation of the lining of the lungs.  It makes breathing very painful.  The new meds they gave her yesterday have helped with the pain – but she gets tired very quickly and easily.  She’s resting a lot and we expect that she’ll be better by this weekend.

Hope to see many of you this weekend at the wedding!
