Eurasian Missions: We recently received a great “year-in-review” video from our brothers and sisters in Novosibirsk! Our sister church has had an incredible year, with 41 baptisms and restorations, three weddings, and over a dozen new babies! You can read the 2015 highlights watch the video here. It has also been posted to “The Weekly” on our Gateway app.

With the successful completion of our REACH capital campaign, we will be resuming our annual Eurasian missions contribution this year. Eurasian missions will be collected beginning in May.  Please begin to pray now about how much you should contribute to this year’s offering. Also pray for our Eurasian brothers and sisters, that God would strengthen their hands and continue to raise up new leaders.

Reach2016 Update:  Six months to go!  As of now over 10,500 have said “yes” to attending Reach2016.  If you haven’t yet registered, you can do so here: www.reach2016.com.  Downtown hotel rooms are also are still available but going quickly. If you require the link to book your hotel room please email kathy@gatewaycitychurch.com.  Questions? Email Kathy, or call 314-737-8721.

Upside Down: Tickets for Upside Down are also becoming more scarce.  Across all five shows, almost 70% of the seats are now filled.  It’s certain now that all five shows will be sold out well before July.

We just received word from Steve Johnson that ticket prices for ALL sections will increase by $5 per seat on February 1st. Right now tickets can be purchased for as little as $10 but that won’t be the case for much longer.

You are welcome to attend any of the five shows, however we highly recommend Gateway members attend the Sunday matinee on July 10. This show has the best seat selection available, including several in the coveted Mezzanine section.

Click here to purchase your tickets now.

Prayer Requests:

  • Karen Scholle has requested prayers for both Joan and Carroll Cassidy.  Joan is undergoing treatment to keep her cancer from recurring. So far, the treatment has been successful with no side effects.  Please pray for this to continue and also for her to remain cancer-free.

Carroll is attempting a new therapy technique for his hips. Please pray that this therapy works and helps to heal his hips. Also pray for Carroll’s veins and arteries to remain healthy.
  • Leroy’s sister-in-law, Linda Walters is in the hospital due to dizzy spells. Please pray for the doctors to diagnose the cause and for her recovery.
  • Scott Mix is happy to report that his nephew Michael’s surgery went well. He is currently recovering his motor skills. The cancer he has is aggressive but treatment is possible. He is currently undergoing a combination of chemotherapy, radiation, and physical therapy.  Please continue to pray for his recovery.

Have a great week!
